There are millions of ways to interpret line. Some of the ways I chose were curvy colorful and unique. I learned that Line can be interpreted in any way that you see it. I like my final piece of art a lot. It is unique and special. This is how I interpreted line and it came out great. I went with "flow" as my main description of line. I don't dislike anything on this drawing.

This is the space unit. My understanding of space has changed a lot. I know see a lot of ways to make art in space. I have also learned about negative space. The seed I drew was fun but, my favorite was the cubes I drew using a vanishing point. It was really easy to make cool cubes. I feel ok about it, but I was out of school for a while and I did not get to color it. I like the way the roots overlap and the shading is good. 1. What new skills did you learn or what did you improve on during this unit? -After this unit I learned how to shade really well.I am also better at looking at a picture and then drawing it on paper. At the end of this unit I also learned how to blend pictures together. 2. How has your thinking about what original art is changed. -I now know that there is no such thing as original art. It is all borrowed from another piece of art. If you steal art, you can not take the whole thing but you can take pieces you like. 3. what challenges or successes did you have during this unit? Would you change anything you did if you could go back and redo it? - At first I had a hard time figuring out what I wanted to draw. I started to draw a bunch of things until I figured out what I wanted to draw. It was great when I was done and my art came out like I wanted. |
